So, I was reading some Thinspiration sites earlier, and it really sickened me. I was really upset at some of the shots they had. Not only are the photos of unhealthy, unrealistic, destructive girls, but the fact that Ana and Mia are embraced as lifestyles. It just truly disturbs me.
However, the concept- using a picture of an ideal to remind you to stick to your goals, isn't bad. It's the unrealistic goals that are being set and the destructive ways that they are being reached.
Especially the fact that girls are encouraged to brag about how thin and unhealthy they are. ugh.
So, I decided to find my own Thinspiration (or as a lovely lady on LJ called it "Slimspiration"). Here they are, the lovely ladies who inspire me to be a size that is healthy and comfortable for a naturally large (5'10) and curvaceous woman like me.

Oh I fucking hate the thin standards for women these days. The pictures are great and much more beautiful than that other shit you see in magazines.
:D I agree.
